All dogs are welcome here with no restrictions on size, breed or number, however if you have a reactive or exempted dog, please see the note below.
We don’t charge extra for dogs as it’s their holiday too!
With a secure garden and 3 acres of field to run around in, plus fabulous dog friendly beaches just 35 minutes away, and some gorgeous woodlands and countryside walks to explore, your dog will play hard and sleep harder!
Your dogs are welcome to snooze on the bed or sofa if that’s what they do at home. If they prefer to sleep on the floor, then please bring their bed. We don’t provide dog beds as most dogs prefer their own.
If your dogs are comfortable alone we are happy for you to leave them for short periods. If your dogs are likely to bark or become distressed or destructive when left alone we ask that you stay with them or take them with you.
We hope that we’ve created a home from home for you and your furry family.

Dog training and fun activity sessions available
Your host is an APDT qualified dog trainer and can offer a range of training sessions including recall workshops and fun gundog training.
We can also offer healing Reiki sessions and canine herbal self-medication sessions too.
* REACTIVE DOGS – PLEASE NOTE
We don’t have a problem with having exempted or reactive dogs on site. We’ve had one ourselves (and she was the best girl!) but we need to make you aware that there is a public footpath that runs through the 3 acre paddock and garden.
Because of our rural location it is very rarely used (maybe 3 people per year pass through), but we can’t guarantee complete isolation.
Reactive dogs should be supervised in the garden at all times, in case walkers pass through and exempted dogs would have to be muzzled in the garden as it is technically a public space.
Sadly we appreciate that this means the cottage may not be suitable for everyone’s dogs.
